Dynamite
Part 1
"SAGE HURRY UP, I'M SURE HALF AN HOUR OF HAIR SPRAYING WILL BE ENOUGH FOR TODAY AND KENTO YOU ALREADY ATE THREE BOWLS OF CEREAL, YOU WON'T DIE FROM HUNGER IF YOU DON'T EAT ANOTHER ONE," shouted Mia at the top of her lungs. Mia waited impatiently in the jeep with Ryo, Rowen, and Cye while eyeing the door. Finally two figures burst outside one wearing green and the other wearing orange clothing. Both quickly jumped into the back seat and the jeep gave a high pitch squeaking sound as it hit the road.
"Think you could have cut it any closer guys?" says Rowen with a grin.
"Hey I need vitamin," says Kento defensively, "besides with the way Mia drives we'll be at the campus in five minutes tops."
As if to give credibility to Kento's statement, everyone was shifted left as Mia made a sharp right.
Oh no Oh no Oh no, I simply cannot be late for Computer Science class! Kathy will kill me if I don't get her disk back!
"Um Mia, you just passed through a red light." said Ryo carefully.
"Don't worry I glanced both ways before going through it."
"Mia I know your eagered to get to class, but please don't get the rest of us killed before we finish our first day of college."
With a sigh Mia slightly slowed down and actually stopped at the next light.
It's so weird that these guys will actually be going to the same college as me. I might actually have to stop thinking of these guys as immature high school students now. I wonder if this will change our relationship. . .
It's been a year and a half since Talpa was defeated and the world was saved by the Ronin Warriors. Now the five Ronins have graduated from high school and our going to Guardian University. The same college that Mia went to before Talpa invaded Earth. Since Mia's mansion is only ten miles from the campus, Mia invited the guys to stay with her while going to college. Only now is she starting to realize just how much her life could change because of that decision.
I've never been late to class once since I've gone to college. I'm going to have to threaten Sage and Kento with bodily harm if they do this to me again.
HONK!
"Mia you just cut in front of that huge truck!!!"
"Don't worry Ryo, their was at least three inches to spare."
Sage tried to do two things at once. One was hold on to the seat with dear life and the other was trying to keep his breakfast he had just ate from splattering Ryo who was in front of him. As they entered the college he took a quick look at the sign they were about to pass by.

Most of the buildings he saw around him were of red brick and white roofs. There were also a few oak trees that grew near the road. Sage didn't see many other students around, but that was probably because not many students have an 8:00 a. m. class like Mia.
The jeep made one last sharp turn and came to a halt in the parking lot. Kento and Cye quickly jumped out and began mockingly kissing the ground. Then they hugged each other while shouting "WE'RE ALIVE! WE'RE ALIVE! IT'S A MIRACLE!"
"Very funny." muttered Mia as she grabbed her bookbag and started running.
"Hey Mia I thought you were gonna give us a tour!"
"Oh right, um, just meet me in one hour at that oak tree over there!" shouted Mia while pointing to the nearby tree.
Mia quickly ran down the sidewalk until she saw the building she was looking for. It was the called the Byte building and was the place were most computer related classes took place. After entering Mia took a left down to a hallway leading to her classroom. She could see Kathy waiting impatiently near the door.
Kathy has been Mia's best friend since she first went to college. They've helped out each other on many of the tough classes. Kathy has an extremely high I. Q. and is the only person Mia knows who could be more of an intellectual than Rowen.
"What took you?" asked Kathy in a worried tone.
"I had a little bit of trouble getting the guys to leave on time."
"Oh thats right! You told me those five friends of yours were coming. Can't wait to meet them. Exactly how did you meet these guys again?"
"Errr, they helped me out when some jerks were bothering me. After that I've been going to the Karate tournaments for morale support."
"Morale support?"
"The competition was very very tough."
"Ok. Do you have my disk?"
"Yep, got the stuff I need?"
"Here ya go."
Mia exchanged a disk that she pulled out of her pocket for a grocery bag that Kathy had beside her. Both went through the door near them and took seats just in time. A bald man in his forties entered and approached the board.
"Now class, lets see how good you people are at programming."
An hour later.....
Mia could make out the five figures of her friends near the tree she had pointed to.
"Is that them?" said Kathy while squinting her eyes.
"Uh-huh."
"Hey Mia, whose your friend?" asked Ryo as they approached.
"Guys this is Kathy Kataline, my best friend. Kathy these are the guys I was telling you about. Ryo, Sage, Kento, Cye, and Rowen."
Kathy wore a black sweater and jeans which seem to go well with her raven black hair. Her face wasn't that of a models, but still looked relatively attractive. Sage looked at her a little longer than the others.
"We've heard some very good things about you from Mia. It's great to finally meet you." says Sage as he takes Kathy's hand and shakes it.
"Oooo his a cute one." said Kathy while eyeing him from head to toe.
Sage gave a smirk to the others that said 'This is the reason why I spend one-third of my life working on my hair!'.
"So which one of these cute guys are you going out with Mia?"
All five showed expressions of surprise from that question.
"None of them." said Mia as she fought the urge to swat Kathy with her bookbag.
"Oh come on, they are all living in the same house with you. You had to have gone on a date with one of these guys."
"Are you kidding? Maybe after they reach maturity. Which should be in five years."
Kathy could see the guys getting a little uncomfortable with this subject. Ryo kept glancing at Mia. And Mia seemed to be blushing just a little.
"No prob Mia, so you guys want a tour of the place?"
"Mind showing us where the library is first?" asked Rowen.
"No way man! I want to know where you get the food." said Kento as he patted his stomach.
"I heard there is a pond with gold fish somewhere around here, can you show that to us?" said Cye shyly.
Mia and Kathy showed the guys all the sights they wanted to see and more. By the time they were done Kento was stuffing his mouth with a huge a sub, Cye was holding a pet goldfish he had bought, and Sage was looking at the phone numbers of three girls that they had ran into during the tour.
"Hey Sage *chop chop* we're only here for one day and you are *chop* already starting a fan club." said Kento while trying to attempt conversation and eating at the same time.
"It's a gift." says Sage as he stuffed the notes back into his pocket.
"Guys I gotta go, you know where your classes are being held now so I think you guys will be ok on your own." says Mia as she eyes her watch.
"Me too, nice meeting you guys." says Kathy as she begins taking another direction.
Everyone waved as Mia and Kathy separated from the group and went into different directions. Mia could see that she was reaching her destination which was the library. The library was four stories tall and very wide. It's one of the largest in the country and some students are said to have become lost in the building a few times. After entering the building, Mia takes a seat and began studying the contents in the grocery bag that Kathy had given her.
Inside were five candles and a piece of white chalk. Each candle was a different color; red, dark blue, light blue, orange, and green. Mia picks up the bag and moves deeper into the library. After walking for ten minutes she stands in front of a door. The lights were dim all around her and the door could just barely be seen in the shadows. Mia carefully searched a nearby shelf and pulled out a small key. With a click Mia unlocks the door in front of her and quickly enters. Closing the door behind her, she pulls out a flashlight from her bookbag. In front of her were a set of stairs that led down to the basement. Walking carefully, she reached the bottom and took a look around the basement. Old books were stacked everywhere.
Mia went to one pile of books knowing specifically where to look for the one she wanted. She carefully pulled out the book from the pile and looked at the cover.

Mia had learned about the door and key completely by accident. As far as she knew no other students knew about this place. The librarian probably placed books down here which she thought weren't appropriate for the students to read.
Mia could still remember how she first found the door and key. She had ran all the way to the library. Their was a book that she was suppose to get to help her write her history paper. The history paper was due in an hour. She got lost while searching deeper and deeper in the library and ended up in front of the door. She was a bit tired from all the running and walking and so had put her hand on the nearby bookshelf to lean on it. That is when she felt the small metal key. She got a D on her paper, but found something very interesting. When she first went through the door to the basement she was surprised to find several old and decaying books. It became a sort of secret sanctuary for her to go to when life got difficult. She looked through several of the old books down here. Some were just cheesy horror novels. She also found a few Play Boys and books that were from the 1940's and 1950's. A very few though were about the black arts. It was the seventh book she came upon that was the one she was going to be using today. . .
